Age: 25 Years
Due to polio, Kizito relies on a wheelchair for mobility. His family has been supportive throughout his life but funding his university fees was extremely difficult for his self-employed mother. He is currently completing his law degree and is driven to achieve his dream of working towards fair rights for all, including people with disabilities.

Name: Fabian
Age: 8 Years
Fabian is a bright boy in Class Two (Primary School). Today, Fabian is doing well in school and is becoming a more confident child with good academic and sporting capabilities.

Name: Priscilla
Age: 11 Years
Eleven-year-old Priscilla joined school late as she was being looked after many guardians. Her uncle, Andrew, focused on the need for an education and with his support and that of Raha, Priscilla is in school. Though she is the eldest in her class she works hard to ensure she catches up with her peers soon.

Name: Ramadhan
Age: 15 Years
Ramadhan grew up in a home with many challenges. Despite observing and experiencing trauma he has now settled well in school and is on his way to becoming a more secure and balanced individual. This has enabled him to study with confidence.

Age: 15 Years
Maureen is a determined 15-year old girl in Form 2. Maureen was orphaned as a young child and had struggled throughout her primary school years. Obtaining a “B” average grade without support speaks of her hard work. Maureen is confident that her perseverance will lead her fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor.

Age: 16 Years
Faith comes from a family of seven with parents could not manage educating all their children. Now in Form 2, Faith aspires to be a Journalist with a desire to help her community and country campaign against early marriage, as well as the sidelining of girl’s education.

Age: 16 Years
Brenda, who is in Form 2 secondary school, is an outstanding student. Her struggle throughout her primary school days to raise school fees had not hindered her commitment to excel in her education. Her ambition is to be an Accountant.

Age: 16 Years
Fatuma is a Form 2 student. Like majority of people living in extreme dry desert conditions, daily life is harsh. Acquiring even the most basic needs is a constant struggle. With a record of encouraging academic performances, Fatuma promises to go far in her studies.
